Saroja is a 2008 Tamil comedy-drama and thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Produced by T. Shiva, the film stars newcomer Vega Tamotia in the title role with Shiva, Vaibhav Reddy, Premji Amaren, S. P. B. Charan in lead and Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Kajal Aggarwal, Sampath Raj, Nikita Thukral and Nagendran in other vital roles.
The team, which made "Chennai-600 028" a fine movie, is back in "Saroja". Except for the producer, the same team is working together again," says Venkat Prabhu who is in charge of the story, screenplay, dialogue and direction.
Four poor young men get into an extraordinary situation on an ordinary day and how they manage to come out of it is the story of "Saroja".
